Minnesota Poker Dealer Sets New World Record for Highest Poker Chip Stack
Travis Stitch, a poker dealer from Minnesota, has set a new world record for the highest stack of poker chips. The new record stack consisted of 300 poker chips. The previous record was set in 2010 by Max Mahlin with a stack of 240 chips.
Travis Stitch has three other world records to his name. One of Travis Stitch's other records is for throwing 54 plastic playing cards at a target.
Stitch's achievement is a testament to his years of honing his skills. The visual impression that building such a structure from chips is easy is deceptive; in reality, it requires a high level of skill and precision.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
