Tom Dwan Wins €336,000 in Triton Short Deck Turbo Tournament
Tom Dwan won the Triton Short Deck Turbo tournament in Madrid, securing his second title of the week at the Triton Poker Madrid SHR series. The tournament had a €30,000 buy-in and a €990,000 prize pool, with the top six finishers receiving a payout.
The 36-card variant tournament featured fast-paced action, with players receiving Bento boxes instead of a dinner break. Tom Dwan defeated several notable players, including Danny Tang, Ivan Leow, and Elton Tsang in the final hand. Dwan won €336,000 for his victory.
Tom Dwan's win came after he had already secured a victory in the €25k PLO tournament earlier in the week. His fellow Triton Poker ambassador, Jason Koon, also closed out event 13 at the same time, exchanging words with Dwan after his win.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
