Tom Dwan's Reputation Under Fire: Controversies and Allegations on 2+2 Forum
Tom Dwan, known as 'durrrr', has been a prominent figure on the 2+2 forum but has not posted in recent years.
A thread titled 'Time to call Tom Dwan a scammer?' was started on September 29, 2014, sparking a heated discussion among poker enthusiasts. Daniel Colman, who rarely speaks publicly, commented that Tom Dwan is 'definitely cheating' and called him a 'scammer'.
Isaac Haxton, who was an arbiter in 'durrrr's Challenge', revealed details about his involvement in the dispute. He mentioned that the situation arose about half a year before the bet on playing against an LHE bot, when Jungleman was owed money by Tom. Haxton advised Jungleman not to return the sum directly but to use it as a credit towards the $1.5 million Tom had already lost in the challenge or towards penalties for refusing to continue the game.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
