Tobias Schwecht Wins Triton Montenegro NLH/PLO Mixed Event
Tobias Schwecht won the $30,000 no-limit hold’em and pot-limit Omaha mixed event at the 2026 Triton Super High Roller Series Montenegro festival. Schwecht's win earned him $465,000 and 420 Card Player Player of the Year points. This was Schwecht's first POY-qualified score of 2026 and the third-largest payday of his career. Schwecht has more than $5.8 million in lifetime cashes across 140 recorded scores.
The 53-entry turnout for this event created a prize pool of $1,590,000 that was split amongst the top nine finishers. The final showdown for the trident trophy began with Zlotnikov at 6,305,000 and Schwecht at 4,295,000. The final hand of the tournament began with Schwecht raising to 240,000 from the button with Q♥J♦9♠4♥. Zlotnikov called with J♥9♥8♥8♣ and the duo saw a flop of Q♦8♠3♥. Schwecht bet 385,000 with his top pair, gutshot, and queen-high flush draw. Zlotnikov check-raised to 1,715,000. The 10♥ on the river gave him the winning hand. Zlotnikov thought the situation over for a while before calling off his remaining 1,900,000 to finish second for $334,000. This was the fifth final-table finish of the festival for Zlotnikov, including his win in event no. 2 for $715,000 and his fifth-place showing in the $200,000 Triton Invitational for nearly $1.9 million.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
