Ukrainian Poker Pro Stas Galatenko Finishes Second in Sunday Million
Stas Galatenko, a Ukrainian poker player, finished second in the Sunday Million tournament on PokerStars. The Sunday Million tournament had an overlay of $134,000. Despite the overlay, Galatenko, known as shrekpoker91, had a strong performance. He started the final table as the chip leader but his stack fluctuated throughout the final. He eventually reached the 3-max stage, where he declined a deal and faced KKgustavoKK in the heads-up final.
The heads-up final lasted less than 15 minutes, and Galatenko lost with A-10 against KKgustavoKK's pocket kings. This was not Galatenko's first notable finish. In August, he finished sixth in the WSOP Online Event #10, narrowly missing out on the bracelet.
Galatenko's performance in the Sunday Million tournament showcases his skill and resilience in the poker world. Despite the challenges, he managed to secure a strong finish, demonstrating his ability to compete at the highest level.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
