ShockedChris Shares His Poker Journey and Tips for Moving Up Stakes

Chris, known as ShockedChris, is a 31-year-old poker player from the UK who started his poker journey in December 2020. He quickly progressed to NL2 and NL5 stakes on Stars, where he encountered many fishy players. Chris took his first poker lessons in March 2021 with PIT, a theoretical poker approach advocate. This collaboration led to a series of educational streams titled 'Teaching Chris' on Twitch, which ran for about 18 months.

Chris now plays regularly at NL100 and NL200 stakes and occasionally at NL500. He aims to help other players who are stuck at lower stakes like NL25-NL100. Chris shares his experiences and the challenges he faced while moving up the stakes, including the psychological and technical demands of higher limits.

Chris's journey is filled with ups and downs, but he has learned valuable lessons that he hopes to share with his readers. He believes in the importance of a solid theoretical foundation and continuous learning. Chris's blog is a resource for players looking to improve their skills and move up the stakes in poker.
