Shambala Casino Opens in Primorye, Russia
The new casino Shambala opened in Primorye, Russia, last week. The casino is located on the site of the former entertainment complex Azov-City, which closed in 2015. Shambala casino occupies an area of over 5 square kilometers.
The first floor of Shambala has 23 tables for games and over 500 slot machines. The first floor also features restaurants, a concert venue, and VIP rooms. Over the next two years, the remaining floors are planned to house a hotel with 275 rooms and various entertainment venues.
Despite financial losses faced by gaming establishments in the region, the gambling industry in Primorye continues to grow. Investors are optimistic about the project and expect a significant influx of tourists from Asia.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
