Sergi Reixach Wins $270,600 in $10k EPT High Roller
Sergi Reixach, a professor at MTT Project, made a significant impact at the $10k EPT High Roller, securing $270,600 for his fourth-place finish. The event, held in Cyprus, attracted 407 registrations, creating a prize pool of $3,947,900. Reixach started the Day 3 with 37 blinds and quickly built his stack to 52 blinds. One of his notable eliminations was Tamas Adamszki, whom he sent to the rail in 14th place.
Reixach's journey was marked by strategic plays and tough decisions. In one crucial hand, he defended his big blind and check-raised with 2J2, finding a call from his opponent. The turn brought a 3, and Reixach continued to apply pressure with a bet of 110,000 into a pot of 390,000. The river revealed a 9, and Reixach went all-in, covering his opponent's 230,000. After several timeouts, his opponent called, revealing TT, which had improved to a full house. Reixach showed AJ, but it wasn't enough to win the hand.
As the final table progressed, Reixach found himself in a challenging situation against Ilia Pavlov. Despite a valiant effort, Reixach was eventually eliminated by Pavlov, who went on to win the tournament. Reixach's performance was a highlight of the EPT, showcasing his skills and contributing to the success of Spanish players in the event.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
