Scientific Games Expands SCiQ Technology Across North Carolina
The North Carolina Education Lottery (NCEL) and Scientific Games have expanded their partnership to include SCiQ technology in 2,000 retail outlets across the state.
This expansion follows a successful initial deployment, where SCiQ technology increased scratch-off sales by 23.5% at Harris Teeter stores. The technology provides real-time, store-specific sales and product performance reports, enhancing security with secure bins that track ticket status.
SCientific Games’ VP Retail Solutions, Michael Martin, highlighted the importance of the expanded collaboration, stating that SCiQ optimizes how scratch-off games are managed and sold in retail stores by connecting lotteries, retailers, and players via real-time data and updates.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
