PSPC 2021 in Barcelona Postponed Indefinitely Due to COVID-19

The PokerStars Players Championship (PSPC) 2021 in Barcelona has been postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event, which was scheduled to take place this year, has been delayed due to the complex epidemiological situation in Spain related to the coronavirus.

The last PSPC event was held in 2019 on the Bahamas, with Ramon Colillas winning the main event for $5,000,000. Despite the postponement, PokerStars will still award 400 Platinum Passes for future PSPC events.

The Sunday Million tournament on PokerStars had a prize pool of $14,000,000 with 69,876 entries.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
