PokerStars Returns to Swiss Market with Casino777 Partnership
PokerStars, the renowned online poker platform, is making a comeback in the Swiss gambling market. The company was forced to leave the market in 2021 due to new regulations that required online gambling services to have a physical presence in Switzerland. This meant that only operators with a live casino on Swiss soil could offer online gambling services.
Starting July 1, 2023, PokerStars will collaborate with the Swiss online casino Casino777. This partnership allows PokerStars to re-enter the Swiss market while complying with local gambling laws. Swiss players will need to have an account with Casino777 to access PokerStars. This requirement ensures that all transactions are handled legally within the country.
Casino777 will also provide partial support services for PokerStars in Switzerland. Initially, PokerStars will be accessible on PC and Android devices, with an iOS version expected to be released soon.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
