PokerTableRatings Introduces PTR Link: Connect Your Profiles
PokerTableRatings (PTR) has introduced a new feature called PTR Link, which allows users to connect their PTR profile to their nicknames on Party Poker and other networks. The PTR Link feature is currently in beta testing and requires users to follow specific instructions sent to their email. To activate PTR Link, users need to click on 'Link the Profile' and complete the steps outlined in the email from PTR. This process involves sitting at a specific table with a designated amount of money, hoping that the PTR mining service notices.
Once the profile is linked, users can upload an avatar, moderate comments in their profile, and partially hide or reveal their statistics. This new feature aims to address the issues that led to the loss of PokerStars' support for PTR. PokerStars has been cracking down on free information exchange, and starting May 10th, the results of all players on OfficialPokerRankings, PokerProLabs, and Sharkscope will be closed. To reopen their profiles, players will need to send a small amount of money to ResultSites on PokerStars, which will be returned to them.
PokerStars has also increased the maximum number of tables a single player can handle, with the limit now depending on the player's reaction speed. This change allows for more dynamic and personalized gameplay. Additionally, Scott Hall, known as stpauli111, made a remarkable achievement by winning four tournaments in one day on PokerStars. Hall's victories include the Bigger 162, Sunday Supersonic, $55 with rebuys, and $215 with rebuys. His impressive performance highlights the potential for significant winnings in online poker tournaments.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
