Seven Poker School Representatives Advance to Round of 16 in PPM2
Seven representatives from a poker school have advanced to the round of 16 in the Poker Pro Masters 2 tournament. The tournament was streamed live on Poker-Red and sponsored by PartyPoker.es. The representatives include Emilio Domínguez, known as Piokari, Jorge Coello, known as marjce01, Alberto Núñez, known as Cashcope, José Ángel Latorre, known as Cejakas, Samuel Jiménez, known as Samy, Álvaro Aspas, known as Darkored, and Gerard Alonso, known as Pixi7.
Emilio Domínguez, known as Piokari, advanced to the round of 16 after losing to Gerard Rodríguez, known as GerardX. Piokari was already classified, but his companion in the group, Christian Moreno, known as El Elegido, had to play his last cards. Piokari lost 2-1 against Gerard Rodríguez, known as GerardX, but still advanced as the second place.
Jorge Coello, known as marjce01, advanced to the round of 16 after winning against Juan Maceiras Sr., known as vietcong01. In the Group Spades, marjce01 had to win his duel with vietcong01 to classify, as the spot of Leo Margets and the elimination of Raúl Mestre were confirmed. Alberto Núñez, known as Cashcope, had all the chances to win with his two victories, but a carambola could leave him out. In an interesting duel with Pablo Rojas, known as Pableras, he managed to impose himself, standing out as one of the few who has won his three heads up. José Ángel Latorre, known as Cejakas, left Adrià Balaguer, known as chojjasd, at zero in a duel more equal than it seems. He won 3-0 against chojjasd. Samuel Jiménez, known as Samy, advanced to the round of 16 after winning against Jan Blahynka. Álvaro Aspas, known as Darkored, advanced to the round of 16 after winning against Óscar Serradell, known as Mendalerenda. Gerard Alonso, known as Pixi7, advanced to the round of 16 after winning against Jordi Martínez, known as Alekhine.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
