Poker Scandal at Venetian: Chip Dumping and Collusion Allegations
The tournament, with a buy-in of $1,600, was won by an obscure Spanish player, Pol Lozano Martin. The scandal involved allegations of chip dumping and collusion between players. Eric Zheng, who was eliminated on the bubble, complained about the situation on Twitter.
Mike Holz, a poker player, claimed that a group of Spanish and South American players have been involved in chip dumping and collusion in Las Vegas. Holz also mentioned that Pol Lozano was part of this group and had been caught cheating in the past.
Holz provided details of an incident at Resort World, where he witnessed suspicious behavior between two players. He also mentioned that the group of players had closed profiles on Hendon Mob, which he found suspicious.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
