PokerMatch Distributes 1 Million Hryvnias After Server Crash
On October 14, PokerMatch held a tournament with a prize pool of 1,000,000 hryvnias, attracting 15,281 players. The servers crashed due to the high number of players, leading to the distribution of the prize pool among all participants.
PokerMatch CEO Ruslan Bangert confirmed the server issues and the decision to distribute the prize pool. He explained that the tournament was well-prepared, but the unprecedented number of simultaneous players caused the servers to malfunction.
All participants received their buy-ins back and additional free spins. PokerMatch's decision to distribute the prize pool was praised for handling the situation with honor and dignity.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
