Poker Legends Patrick Antonius and John Juanda Share Their Current Plans
Patrick Antonius, widely regarded as one of the most profitable online poker players in history, has been living in Monaco and playing poker worldwide, but rarely in tournaments. In an interview with PokerListings, Antonius mentioned that he has not been to Macau for two years but plans to return to the big game.
Antonius also spoke about his collaboration with King's Casino in Rosvadov, where he played with their sticker. He revealed that he has been spending more time with his family and focusing on his health, which has helped him overcome various physical issues.
When asked about online poker, Antonius expressed his dislike for the current state of the game. He believes that the use of programs providing a lot of data has made the game unfair and that he is no longer competitive in online poker. He mentioned that he has been focusing more on live games and plans to participate in the EPT Malta.
John Juanda, another poker legend, lives in Tokyo and has been focusing on various bets and challenges with a friend. Juanda mentioned that he has not played poker for a year and has been training and learning Japanese. He shared that he has been preparing for various challenges, including physical feats and language exams, and has been living in Tokyo for four years but never studied Japanese until now.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
