Poker Hall of Fame to Welcome New Member This Year
The Poker Hall of Fame will induct one new member this year. The voting process is currently open on WSOP.com, where fans can vote for their favorite candidates or suggest new ones. The voting will close on October 14th, and the new member will be announced on October 17th by Caesars Entertainment.
To be eligible for induction, a player must meet several criteria. They must be at least 40 years old and have played against top players at high stakes. Additionally, they should have been an authority in the poker community for many years and contributed to the popularity and advancement of the game.
Current Poker Hall of Fame members will also have a say in the selection process, with their votes being considered alongside those of the public. Some of the notable candidates this year include Chris Ferguson, Antonio Esfandiari, Patrick Antonius, Isai Scheinberg, Matt Savage, Eli Elezra, and Ted Forrest.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
