Planet Hollywood Resort Poker Room Closes in Las Vegas
The poker room at Planet Hollywood Resort in Las Vegas has closed. The room, which had 10 tables, opened in November 2022.
Caesars Entertainment, the company that owns Planet Hollywood Resort, announced the closure on July 11, 2023. The closure was due to the poker room's inability to compete with larger, more popular poker rooms in the area.
This closure is part of a broader trend in the gaming industry, where many smaller poker rooms have struggled to stay open due to competition and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
