Phil Hellmuth Exits WSOP #19 in Fourth Place, Threatens Casino
Phil Hellmuth exited the WSOP #19 Seven-Card Stud tournament in fourth place. He was eliminated by Anthony Zinno, who went on to win the tournament. Hellmuth won $55,000 for his fourth-place finish.
Before his exit, Hellmuth threatened to burn down the casino where the tournament was held. The threat came after a heated exchange during the final hand, where Zinno closed out a nuts flush.
This year, Hellmuth has been aiming to win his 16th WSOP gold bracelet and move closer to his goal of 20 bracelets. Despite the setback, Hellmuth remains a formidable force in the poker world, known for his aggressive play and outspoken personality.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
