Phil Galfond Launches PokerStatic.com: Poker Podcasts and More

Phil Galfond has launched a new website called PokerStatic.com, which features a variety of poker podcasts and interviews. The site is designed to be both educational and entertaining, offering daily updates in five categories. These categories include Poker Dirt, which discusses poker news and rumors, Hot Seat with interviews of poker stars, On the table, a poker audio show hosted by Galfond, and Mad Poker, a video poker show.

The website also includes a section called Static TV, which currently features two videos. The first is a welcome message from Phil Galfond, and the second is a more unusual video titled "Meet Vanessa." In this video, Galfond introduces his girlfriend Vanessa, whom he is teaching poker. The video shows Galfond quizzing Vanessa about the basics of poker, with Vanessa enthusiastically naming the four suits.

PokerStatic.com also features interviews with notable poker players. One of the interviews is with Ilari Sahamies, who shares his preferences and experiences in the poker world. Sahamies mentions that he prefers playing PLO over No-Limit Hold'em, stating that PLO is simpler because you just put money in and see what happens. He also discusses his biggest wins and losses in Bobby's Room, including a $1.7 million win and a $2.4 million loss. Another interview featured is with Tony Dunstan, which is available for viewers to explore on their own.
