Nevada Casinos Rebound with $1.1 Billion March Revenues
Nevada casinos generated $1.1 billion in March 2021, the highest monthly revenue since 2013. This significant increase comes after a year of gradual re-openings with restrictions since Governor Sisolak shut things down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
With every region of the state seeing month-over-month increases, the state government collected close to $100 million in taxes from March revenues. From May 1st Las Vegas casinos will be allowed to run at 80% capacity. The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) are looking to allow 100% opening by June 1st, subject to state-wide controls that say 60% of residents have to have had at least one shot of a Covid-19 vaccine.
Some players have already taken advantage of the relaxation in casino capacity, the semi-anonymous Roger L. scooping a $2.9million slots jackpot at the Venetian.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
