Russian Poker Star Shaves Head Live on Stream
Mikhail Shalamov, a well-known Russian poker player and ambassador for PokerStars, shaved his head during a live stream on April 1st. The stream, which was meant to be a light-hearted performance, was part of a plan to lift the spirits of his followers during the quarantine. Shalamov explained that he had been planning to shave his head for a while and saw the quarantine as an opportune time to do so.
During the stream, Shalamov's wife finished shaving his head after the stream. After the stream, Shalamov encountered a situation where a courier from Tinkoff Bank needed a photo of him without a head covering, despite his freshly shaved head.
Shalamov shared the story on his Telegram group, highlighting the unexpected turn of events. The incident added a humorous twist to his already entertaining live stream, showcasing his ability to handle unexpected situations with grace and humor.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
