Poker Star Mike Postle Accused of Cheating in Live Streams
Mike Postle, a regular player in a live cash game streamed on Twitch from Stones Casino, has found himself at the center of a cheating controversy. The game, with limits usually set at $1/3 and $5/5, has drawn attention due to Postle's remarkable performance.
Veronica Brill, a participant and commentator of these games, noticed Postle's unusual play and suspected cheating. She observed that his preflop style, near-perfect river play, and phenomenal results seemed impossible without some form of advantage. Brill shared her observations on Twitter, stating that while she couldn't be certain of cheating, the likelihood was significantly higher than zero.
Prominent poker figures Joe Ingram and Doug Polk analyzed Postle's gameplay and raised suspicions of cheating. Ingram recorded two five-hour investigations highlighting Postle's extraordinary hands and commented on his play. Polk also agreed with the suspicions, noting Postle's near-flawless river play and the improbability of his win rate given his preflop losses. Stones Casino initially denied any wrongdoing but suspended streams and promised an independent investigation.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
