Mike Matousov Bets Half His Bankroll on Daniel Negreanu vs. Doug Polk
Mike Matousov has announced a bold move in the poker world by betting half of his bankroll, $10,000, on Daniel Negreanu to win against Doug Polk in their upcoming heads-up match on WSOP.com on November 1.
Matousov shared his decision on Twitter, expressing his confidence in Negreanu's victory. He mentioned that he would have bet more, but needed $6,000 for November expenses and had already bet $5,000 on Trump's victory in March, which is now at risk.
Doug Polk criticized Matousov's bet, calling it reckless both in the context of this match and in terms of bankroll management. Negreanu agreed with Polk's assessment. Phil Hellmuth also believes that Daniel Negreanu will win against Doug Polk.
