Mike Leah Wins 2026 WSOP Europe Rounder Cup, Secures Second Bracelet
Mike Leah emerged victorious in the 2026 World Series of Poker Europe Rounder Cup, securing his second career gold bracelet. The tournament, held at the Hilton Hotel Prague, attracted 647 entries and offered a prize pool of $1,785,720. Leah's win came after a heads-up battle against Georgian Tornike Tchkonia.
Leah's victory earned him $335,800, adding to his already impressive career earnings of over $9.8 million. His first bracelet was won in 2014 at the WSOP Asia Pacific, where he took down a $25,000 AUD high roller for $527,000. This latest win also secured him 1,260 Card Player Player of the Year points, catapulting him into the top 100 in the 2026 POY standings presented by CoinPoker.
Leah's path to victory was marked by several key moments. He bagged up the largest stack of any day 1 player, with 104 moving on to day 2 action. Notable players who ran deep included Gilles Silbernagel, Pedro Marques, Martin Zamani, Paulina ‘PokerBunny’ Loeliger, Jeff Madsen, Weiran Pu, and Shaun Deeb. Deeb, in particular, made his third deep run of the festival, having already finished as the runner-up twice. Incredibly, both final hands in those events saw him eliminated by quads.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
