MGM Resorts Foundation Generously Donates Over $4.6M to Local Charities
The MGM Resorts Foundation, with the support of its employees and guests, has donated over $4.6 million to nonprofit organizations. This generous contribution will benefit 211 grants across various states where MGM Resorts employees work and live.
Maria Jose Gatti, Vice President of Philanthropy at MGM Resorts, highlighted the unique model of the Foundation, which involves employees in identifying organizations that can make a meaningful impact in their local communities.
Among the beneficiaries are Gamers Outreach, which provides therapeutic gaming experiences to hospitalized children, and Shoes That Fit, an organization offering new athletic shoes and other vital accessories to children affected by financial difficulties. Gamers Outreach will receive funding in six regions, including New Jersey, Michigan, Southern Mississippi, and Southern Nevada. Shoes That Fit will be supported in five regions, including Southern Nevada, Southern Mississippi, New Jersey, Westchester and Bronx Counties, and Western Massachusetts.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
