Matthias Eibinger Wins Sixth Triton Title in Jeju PLO Event
Matthias Eibinger has added another prestigious title to his poker resume, winning the $100,000 buy-in PLO main event at the Triton Super High Roller Series in Jeju. This victory marks his sixth Triton title and the second-largest score of his career, earning him $1,787,000.
Eibinger's triumph came after outlasting 65 entries in the high-stakes Pot-Limit Omaha affair. His previous highest score was nearly $3.5 million from a win in the 2023 Triton Monte Carlo $132,500 no-limit hold’em main event. This latest win brings his career earnings to nearly $33.2 million, with roughly $19.4 million coming from his 37 in-the-money finishes in Triton events.
Eibinger's success in Jeju is part of a remarkable run in 2026. His win in Jeju was his second triumph this year, having also won a $50,000 NLH event at the Onyx Super High Roller Series. This victory also earned him 720 Card Player Player of the Year points, climbing him to sixth place in this year’s POY standings presented by CoinPoker. The final prize pool for the event was $6,500,000, with the top 11 finishers earning a share.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
