Mario Mosböck Secures Fourth Triton Title in Montenegro

Mario Mosböck secured his fourth Triton title by winning the $30,000 no-limit hold’em eight-max event in Montenegro, earning $928,000. This victory brings his total Triton cashes to nearly $17 million. Mosböck's previous wins include the 2023 Monte Carlo $40,000 seven-max ($1,438,000), a $25,000 event at the 2024 Jeju stop ($1,191,196), and the $50,000 seven-max event last year in Jeju ($1,836,570).

The event, part of the 2026 Triton Super High Roller Series Montenegro, attracted 133 entries, creating a prize pool of $3,990,000. Notable players who made deep runs include Benjamin Tollerene (23rd), Kiat Lee (20th), Alex Kulev (19th), Fedor Holz (17th), Jesse Lonis (15th), Aleksejs Ponakovs (14th), and event no. 2 champion Anatoly Zlotnikov (13th).

During the final table, Eelis Parssinen was the first to be eliminated, followed by Adrian Mateos, Mehdi Chaoui, Danilo Velasevic, and Patrik Antonius. Kristen Foxen and Javid Ismayilov also faced elimination before Mosböck and Tang battled heads-up. Mosböck's comeback against Tang was marked by a crucial double up with K-3 against Tang's K-9 suited, and a final showdown where Tang's K♥5♦ was ahead of Mosböck’s Q♦J♥ preflop, but Mosböck managed to secure the win.
