Pakistani Gamer M. Zubair Wins TEKKEN 8 Championship at EWC 26
M. Zubair from Pakistan won the TEKKEN 8 Championship at EWC 26. His journey to the top was not easy; he had to go through a Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) early in the tournament. M. Zubair faced Yoon LowHigh Sun-woong from South Korea at the TEKKEN 8 Grand Final during EWC 26. He won the Grand Final with a 5-0 score against LowHigh.
M. Zubair's exceptional performance at EWC earned him a significant share of the $1m prize pool and an extra $50,000 for the Jafonso Award, which is given to EWC champions who secure their Championship status after an initial LCQ.
His victory positioned AG.AL at the top of the Club Championship standings, solidifying Pakistan's presence in the TEKKEN community. M. Zubair's win against LowHigh was a significant moment, as the rivalry between South Korea and Pakistan in TEKKEN has been ongoing for years.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
