Lucky Day Lotto Ticket Wins $500K in Illinois, but Winner Remains Elusive
A Lucky Day Lotto ticket bought on Monday, July 27, secured the game’s top prize of $500,000. The ticket won by matching the numbers 18, 22, 28, 29, and 32. The winner has a year from July 27 to claim their reward.
The Illinois Lottery has seen a surge in winners over the past months, with players claiming more than $40m worth of various prizes during the draw. However, as of the time of writing, no player has stepped forward to claim the prize.
Lucky Day Lotto has been one of the most popular lottery games in the Prairie State and often a source of six-figure prizes. At the beginning of the year, another Lucky Day Lotto ticket fetched a $550,000 prize by matching the winning numbers - 2, 10, 17, 29, and 38. The shop that sold the ticket also received a $5,500 payment.
