Late Night Poker: The Iconic Poker Show May Return to TV Screens
Late Night Poker, the iconic UK poker show that captivated audiences with its thrilling games and colorful characters, is being considered for a comeback. Rob Yong, owner of the Dusk Till Dawn cardroom in Nottingham, has asked Simon Trumper to bring back a version of the show in 2022.
Fans and players have been eagerly suggesting who should be invited to the reboot. Irish pro Padraig Parkinson tweeted his wishlist, which includes notable names like Tony G, Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu, Jennifer Tilly, and Victoria Coren Mitchell. The list also includes many other prominent figures from the poker world.
One of the most iconic figures from the original Late Night Poker is Dave “Devilfish” Ulliott, who won the inaugural season in 1999. Although he passed away in 2015, his legacy lives on, and his spirit is sure to be felt in any reboot of the show. Rob Yong tweeted, “Sadly - the Devil can’t make it but he has a bar at the club named after him - I’m sure he be propping that up in spirit.”

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
