Kalshi Launches WSOP 2026 Attendance Predictions Market
Kalshi has introduced the first World Series of Poker (WSOP) predictions market on its platform, allowing users to trade on the overall number of players in the 2026 WSOP Main Event. Users can trade on whether the WSOP Main Event will have more than 10,000 runners. The 2026 WSOP has been scheduled to run from May 26 to July 15.
The Main Event attendance number has long been considered one of the key parameters in measuring the overall success of the WSOP. The 2023 WSOP Main Event saw 10,043 players, while the 2024 WSOP Main Event saw 10,112 players. However, the 2025 WSOP Main Event saw 9,735 entries.
Daniel Negreanu will give away a WSOP Main Event seat via Kalshi. Kalshi has partnered with The Lodge Card Club in Texas.
