Julien Martini Wins Second WSOPE Bracelet in a Week
Julien Martini has made history by winning his second WSOPE bracelet in just a week. The 8-Game Mix tournament, part of the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE), saw 61 players each paying a 2,000 euro buy-in. Martini emerged victorious, earning 34,000 euros and a gold bracelet. His previous WSOPE victory was just four days prior.
In the final, Martini faced off against Ole Schemion, who finished second, earning 21,000 euros. The decisive hand saw Martini's 7-8 outperform Schemion's K-8, thanks to an eight on the flop. Other notable finishers include Nicolas Boukovski, Mikel Plum, Simon Alexandridis, and Arta Dedusha, who took home varying amounts of prize money.
Roland Israelashvili, known for his 162 ITM finishes at the WSOP but no bracelet wins, finished ninth in this tournament. Despite his extensive experience, Israelashvili has yet to secure a bracelet, adding to his impressive but bracelet-less record.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
