Josh Arieh Wins Sixth WSOP Bracelet, Climbs to Second in Player of the Year Race

Josh Arieh has won his sixth WSOP bracelet, outlasting a field of 112 players to take down Event 80: $25,000 H.O.R.S.E. High Roller at the 2023 WSOP. His victory earned him a $711,313 first-place prize, and his latest win has sparked calls for his induction into the Poker Hall of Fame.

This win is Arieh's second success in the 2023 WSOP, having previously dominated Event 22: $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship for his fifth bracelet. With these two wins under his belt, Arieh has now climbed to second place in the WSOP Player of the Year race, trailing only Ian Matakis. Throughout his career, Arieh has won a massive total of $11,595,493 from live tournament earnings, with $8,598,231 of his winnings coming from WSOP events.

When asked about his feelings after securing his sixth bracelet, Arieh expressed his excitement, saying: 'I'm so stoked. It was a tough field, and I was the last person to go on a heater. I feel amazing, and I'm very fortunate.'
