Jorj95: The Poker Millionaire's Journey and Insights
George Lind, known by his online handle Jorj95, last visited his programming office in 2001 and fully transitioned to poker. His journey in the poker world began in 1998 when he watched a friend play seven-card stud in a local casino. This experience sparked his interest, and he started playing poker seriously.
Jorj95 primarily plays hyper-turbo SNG tournaments but also participates in live events. In 2011, he finished 6th in the WSOP Player Championship for $50k and lost a bracelet in a heads-up against Vyacheslav 'Amke' Zhukov. His live poker experience includes playing in various tournaments, showcasing his versatility as a player.
Jorj95 holds the world record for VPP points and uses tournament dollars to play more SNGs. He believes that tournament dollars take care of themselves and can be exchanged for close to their nominal value if needed. His strategy involves playing a large volume of SNGs, which helps him maintain his high VPP point count.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
