Dutch Poker Player Joran van der Sloot Arrested for Murder in Chile
Joran van der Sloot, a 22-year-old Dutch poker player, was arrested in Chile on June 3, 2010, for the murder of Stephanie Flores Ramirez, a 21-year-old Peruvian woman. Stephanie Flores Ramirez's body was found in a hotel room registered to Joran van der Sloot, with fatal blows inflicted by a tennis racket.
Joran van der Sloot is the prime suspect in the 2005 disappearance of American Natalie Holloway on Aruba. He was extradited to Peru on June 5, 2010. Stephanie Flores Ramirez was a university student in Lima, Peru.
Joran van der Sloot is known in the poker community by the online nicknames AAOTILTKK and Joran888.
