The first tournament of the World Poker Series in Las Vegas, No-Limit Hold'em Covid-19 Relief Charity, collected 260 entries and a prize pool of $231,400.
The winner of the event was Jeremy Osmus, who secured his second WSOP bracelet and $48,680 in prize money. The runner-up of the event was also a poker player from the USA, Jesse Lones, who earned $30,080.
The final table of the WSOP No-Limit Hold'em Covid-19 Relief Charity Event included nine players, with eight of them being American. In the final hand, Osmus limped with A♣-9♣ from the button, Lones went all-in with K♥-9♥ from the big blind, and Osmus called. Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
