Jason Koon Makes History as Sole 2026 Poker Hall of Fame Inductee
Jason Koon has been inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame as the lone inductee for 2026. Koon's induction was a surprise as many expected multiple inductees due to the revised voting process.
Koon has $77.5 million in recorded tournament earnings, making him third on the all-time money list. He has 20 seven-figure scores, including a record 12 wins at the Triton Poker Series. The Poker Hall of Fame voting process was revised to allow for multiple inductees, but only Koon was inducted this year.
Koon is known for his integrity, humility, and work ethic, making him a respected figure in the poker community. The finalists for the 2026 Poker Hall of Fame induction included Justin Bonomo, Shaun Deeb, Isaac Haxton, Chris Moorman, Mike Matusow, Scott Seiver, and Isai Scheinberg.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
