Jason Koon and Dan Smith Clash Over Quiet Request at Triton Super High Roller

Jason Koon and Dan Smith clashed during a hand in the $100K Main Event at the Triton Super High Roller Cyprus. Dan Smith asked for quiet while he made his decision, which Jason Koon found obnoxious.

Jason Koon pointed out that Dan Smith talks during everyone else’s decision. He also revealed that two VIPs had come up to him and said how bad it was playing with Smith after he berated them for talking during his decision. Koon said Smith was only sitting with 20 big blinds and already knew what he was going to do anyway, so the complaint was pointless.

Dan Smith responded to the incident on Twitter, stating that the graphics were wrong and that he had a tough spot with a shot clock. He also mentioned that he had plenty of timebank tokens to use should he need any extra time. Justin Bonomo shared his thoughts, stating that Jason Koon was out of line and that Dan Smith handled the situation well.
