Jason Daly Wins Third WSOP Bracelet in Omaha Eight-or-Better Event
Jason Daly has made history by winning his third WSOP bracelet in the $1,500 Omaha eight-or-better event, earning $191,362. This victory marks Daly's second win in an Omaha event, following his triumph in the $2,500 mixed Omaha eight-max event last summer.
Daly's impressive performance has contributed to his career earnings, which now exceed $1.9 million in recorded tournament scores. Nearly $1.1 million of this amount comes from his 39 cashes in WSOP events. His latest win also earned him 912 Card Player Player of the Year points, adding to his total of 1,356 points.
The event, held over three days at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, attracted a strong field of 828 entries. The prize pool amounted to $1,099,170, with the top 126 finishers sharing the total. Notable players who made deep runs included Vanessa Selbst, who reached the final nine, and Perry Green, who was eliminated in sixth place by Daly. The final battle saw Dorian Rios finish as the runner-up, earning $127,528.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
