Isildur1: My Poker Journey and Lessons from Full Tilt
Isildur1, the notorious Swedish poker player, has shared his experiences and insights about playing on Full Tilt. He started his journey on the platform in October, transitioning from other sites where he primarily played no-limit hold'em at stakes of $200/$400.
Isildur1 felt particularly confident against durrrr, noting that durrrr's frequent mistakes gave him a significant advantage. However, he found playing against Phil Ivey challenging because Ivey prefers to play only two tables, which Isildur1 found too limiting for his style.
Isildur1 did not sell shares of his game and played solely on his own funds. He believes that playing against durrrr has taught him a lot, despite the financial losses he incurred. Isildur1 considers Martonas his poker enemy, having won around $400,000 from him across various sites. He has been playing pot-limit Omaha for only 8 months and recently played on Full Tilt with durrrr, thanks to a friend who transferred $50,000 to his account.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
