GT Pro Community: Seven Months of Challenges, Learning, and Fun

GT Pro, a community for GipsyTeam players, was officially launched on June 1, 2023. The community moved from Discord to Telegram on the same day, with a big announcement on GipsyTeam. The community was divided into two groups: Silver and Gold. To join the Silver group, participants needed to play $300 in rake per month, while the Gold group required $1,000 in rake per month.

By the end of the period, the Silver group had 561 members, and the Gold group had 500 members. Notably, 86 regulars successfully transitioned from the Silver group to the Gold group. Andrey Rustin led the Silver group, known for his expertise in micro-limit exploits and a win rate of over 20% on NL50. Anton Nko1 led the Gold group, known for his red-line game and popular poker streams.

The community engaged in various challenges, including physical fitness and poker-related competitions. For instance, in June, participants competed in a push-up challenge. In August, the 'Sweatiest August' challenge required participants to play as many hands as possible. In September, the 'Master of Select' challenge involved playing as many hands as possible with players who had a VPIP of 50 or higher. The 'King of the Hill' challenge aimed to build the largest stack at a single table. In October, the 'Nightmare on GT Pro Street' challenge involved finding the most negative day in BB. In November, the 'New Level' challenge required participants to play as many hours as possible.
