Partypoker has made significant changes to its fast poker format. The ante, which was reintroduced in mid-January, has been removed after just a month. This change was not publicly announced and affected all stakes, leaving only blinds in place.
Partypoker has also increased the prize pool for its weekly leaderboards to $150,000, now including cash game players. The leaderboards feature eight categories, with four tables each for Omaha and Hold'em, covering various stakes. Results are tracked from Monday 03:00 to the following Monday 02:59.
PokerStars has introduced a new six-card Omaha variant, but it is only available on the international client. The game, known as PLO6, is currently played on a few tables at the lowest stakes. To access PLO6, players must enable Aurora engine support in the settings. Additionally, PokerStars will host the Sunday Million tournament with a reduced buy-in of $54.50 on February 23, maintaining the traditional $1,000,000 guarantee.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
