The new hub will act as a centre of innovation in key areas such as product development, software engineering, and research and insights.
The hub includes a 'Skills Academy' which provides early-career opportunities and a Kickstart scheme for those from disadvantaged backgrounds. The hub has achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating and meets the WELL building standard. The hub includes features such as electric car charging points, IT 'vending machines', and break-out furniture made from recycled Coca-Cola bottles.
The hub will be home to more than 800 technology professionals working in key functions such as Global Sports Trading Platform, Digital Infrastructure, Platform Services, and Information Security. The hub includes a £1m investment in VC and AV equipment to promote inclusive meetings. The hub will continue to promote SBG’s ‘Skills Academy’, which offers selected graduates a fully funded MSc in Digital and Technology Solutions from Sheffield Hallam University. SBG has launched a self-funded version of the government’s Kickstart scheme, creating 13 new roles for young people at risk of long-term unemployment. Conor Grant, CEO of Flutter Entertainment UK and Ireland, commented that the new office is a vision for the future of working.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
