Duelo de Escritores de Poker-Red Winners Announced
The seventh edition of the Duelo de Escritores de Poker-Red began almost a month ago. This year's event featured a unique twist, requiring participants to write stories inspired by a Christmas theme, with the phrase “Cuento de Navidad” as a requirement. The contest was supported by PokerBarato, a prominent poker specialty store.
The Prize of the Jury on Twitter went to the user “Relfon” for his excellent tweets. “Relfon” won a 200€ voucher for PokerBarato. The voting for the public prize was intense, with nearly twenty stories competing for two major awards: the Grand Prize of the Public and the Jury Prize.
“DITS BRUTS” (LOBACHEVSKY) won the Grand Prize of the Public with his parody “ROUNDERS 2 (original script)”. For his victory, “DITS BRUTS” (LOBACHEVSKY) received a 400€ prize to spend at PokerBarato. Additionally, “AndrewMartin” won the Jury Prize for his story “Sueño de un cuento de Saturnalia”, earning a 200€ prize to spend at PokerBarato.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
