Daniel Negreanu Secures $350,000 Win at PokerGO Cup Event 6
Daniel Negreanu won Event 6 of the 2022 PokerGO Cup, earning $350,000. The final table of Event 6 included Stephen Chidwick, Vikenty Shegal, Brock Wilson, and Sean Winter.
Negreanu was on the brink of quitting the series after Event 5 but was convinced to continue by Jeff Platt. Platt reminded Negreanu that winning one of the remaining $25k tournaments and the $50k could still secure him the PokerGO Cup.
Negreanu's victory leapfrogged him to 8th place in the overall standings, but he still has work to do to catch leader Jeremy Ausmus.
