Daniel Negreanu: Time Delays in Poker Tournaments Are Cheating
Daniel Negreanu, a renowned poker player, recently spoke out against the use of time delays in poker tournaments, labeling it as 'englshuting' and comparing it to cheating. He believes that players should be rewarded for quick play to discourage time-wasting.
Negreanu also addressed the behavior of Will Kasusf in the main tournament, stating that his actions were against the rules and deserved punishment. He suggested that players who violate the rules should be held accountable and that their behavior should not be tolerated.
In addition to time delays, Negreanu also discussed the issue of players closing their neck, mouth, and eyes simultaneously. He suggested that a rule should be implemented to allow players to close only one of these areas at a time, but acknowledged that enforcing such a rule could be challenging.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
