Daniel Negreanu: Modern Poker Players Turn to Twitter for Debt Issues

Daniel Negreanu, a renowned poker player, recently shared his views on the poker community's focus on prize money rather than profit. He criticized the community for not understanding that prize money does not equate to profit.

Negreanu mentioned that Steve Chidwick, who is second in the all-time money list, has a career profit of around $10 million. He also discussed a situation where a poker player publicly accused another of owing a large sum of money. Negreanu believes that social media has changed the way poker players handle debt and public image.

Negreanu mentioned that he has been in similar situations where he had to borrow money and struggled to pay it back. He believes that the modern generation of poker players is quick to turn to social media to address such issues, which is not his style. He prefers a more personal and private approach to handling debt and financial struggles.
