Daniel Negreanu Joins Elite Mensa Society with High IQ Score
Daniel Negreanu, a well-known poker player, has joined Mensa, an organization for people who scored in the top 2% on an IQ test. Negreanu passed the IQ test on his first attempt. He announced his achievement on Twitter, stating that he passed the test on his first attempt, but he does not consider his result to be genius-level.
Mensa is an organization for people with high IQ. In addition to Negreanu, other notable members include engineer Martin Cooper, the inventor of the mobile phone, and Markus Persson, the creator of the popular game Minecraft.
Negreanu is not the only poker player in Mensa. Liv Boeri, another poker player, is also a member. Boeri holds a degree in astrophysics and currently runs an educational YouTube channel, having stepped back from professional poker.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
