Daniel Negreanu Shares His Top Picks for Fantasy Poker
Daniel Negreanu, a renowned poker player, has shared his top picks for fantasy poker ahead of the World Series of Poker (WSOP). In a recent post, Negreanu highlighted several players he believes are strong choices for fantasy teams.
Negreanu's Top Picks
Negreanu suggests picking himself for fantasy poker due to his consistent high scoring. He mentions that he always scores high points and has a high minimum and maximum points range. Negreanu also highlights Shon Deeb as a top pick for fantasy poker due to his high points per dollar ratio.
Negreanu mentions that Jeremy was overvalued in the previous year's fantasy draft. He notes that Jeremy had a strong performance in 2024 but failed to repeat it in 2025. Scott Seiver had a strong performance in 2024 but failed to repeat it in 2025. Negreanu also mentions that Phil Ivey's plans for the upcoming WSOP are unknown, making him a risky pick.
Joao Vieira is noted for his strong performance in expensive hold'em tournaments. Negreanu also highlights Phil Hellmuth for his consistent performance in the WSOP, despite Hellmuth's own expectations for higher scores.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
